Your browser may not support display of this image.1. The Bridge Device attaches to the ventilator’s RS232 com-port. Proprietary software in the Bridge compiles and transmits a complete vent check to the
Clinical Application in 1 second.

Once the Bridge is attached to the ventilator, proprietary Bridgetech software recognizes the supported device and compiles data based on
the medical device manufacturer’s interface protocol.
 

Data transmits wirelessly via IRDA or Wi-Fi (in the appropriate setting) to Bridgetech’s
Clinical Point-of-Care Application.

2. The Clinical Application for Point-of-Care Digital Documentation.

 The Clinical Application collects ventilator or patient data and is immediately available for viewing. Clinical Notes, Assessments and Floor Care procedures are quickly and accurately documented on Quick-Tap forms.
48 hours of patient data remain on board the Clinical Application at the bedside.

 Hardware requirements for The Clinical Application:  
A.  Any hand-held device running Windows Mobile 5 or 6 OS.
Must have an IR receiver to read data transmitted from the Bridge Device.

B. Mobile PC platforms running Windows XP or Vista can run Bridgetech's
Desktop Clinical Application.
A USB IR dongle is used to receive data from the Bridge Device.

 3. The Server Application.

Your browser may not support display of this image.The Bridgetech Server Application synchronizes with the Clinical App via Wi-Fi and stores
clinical data permanently.

 
Clinical information is viewable on the hospital network.
Encrypted code and user credentials assure convenient but controlled access by medical staff.

HL7 interface with EMR is staged from the Bridgetech server App.

Administrative tools for configuring vent sheets, medication formulary, notes function, and more are also part of the Server Application.
The tools allow customization to fit individual respiratory therapy department needs.
